AQUASEAL® FD Urethane Repair Adhesive

Aquaseal® Flexible Durable (FD) is is the go-to repair adhesive for all types of marine gear and fabrics.  It is a waterproof urethane adhesive and sealant, specially formulated for the flexibility, adhesion and abrasion protection you need for wetsuits, dry suits and other marine equipment. United SAR offers Aquaseal® FD in two convenient sizes, small ¾ oz and economical 8 oz tubes.

Unopened Aquaseal® FD has a 4 year shelf life from date of manufacture. The date is crimped into the bottom of the tube. Once the seal on the tube has been punctured/opened the adhesive begins to cure. Opened tube life can be extended up to 3-6 months by reinstalling and tightening the cap after each use and storing in a dry location. As long as adhesive can be drawn from tube it is still good. If you have minor or infrequent repairs it is recommended that you purchase the smaller ¾ oz tubes and keep one as a spare for emergency field repairs.
