SM-2 Marker Light

    

As of October 2019, the venerable SM-2 has been discontinued by the manufacturer.  The legacy 6-volt, screw top lantern battery (item #45200-6VHD) remains available from United SAR to extend the service life of existing SM-2 units in the field.

The replacement marker light is the SM-3.  The SM-3 is available from United SAR as item #45046.  It is smaller and lighter than the SM-2, features a solid state LED lamp and utilizes the more common AA lithium batteries. The SM-3 mounting bracket uses the same bolt pattern as the previous SM-2 ensuring simple field retrofit.
